Clever Taps & Showers has obtained the prestigious EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) certification for nearly all of its products, covering a wide range of categories within the Deck-Mounted Faucets (for Washbasins, Bidets, and Sinks), Wall-Mounted Faucets, and Thermostatic Faucets families, including Shower Sets and many more products.
The EPD/DAP certification confirms the manufacturer’s commitment to measuring and reducing the environmental impact of its products and services, and it communicates these impacts in a responsible and transparent manner.
The product’s environmental performance is described through a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), which evaluates the product from raw material extraction, manufacturing processes, and distribution in all its phases, to the product’s use and end-of-life, concluding with its recycling.
Furthermore, this data provides important information on sustainability to a wide technical audience, including architects, technical engineers, builders, and designers, which is crucial for comprehensive construction projects, especially those subject to international certification systems such as BREEAM®, LEED®, or VERDE®.
The EPD/DAP certification has been rigorously verified by TECNALIA R&I CERTIFICATION S.L., an independent certifying body, to be registered and published in the International EPD System.
In another demonstration of STH GROUP’s commitment to environmental care and the implementation of sustainable development policies, Standard Hidráulica has also obtained the “Carbon Footprint Calculation Seal” from the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the ISO 14001 ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS CERTIFICATION, which confirms its commitment to minimising environmental impacts and promoting better resource management.
